I did it

I did it.  Of course some of you are wondering what I did.  I went to the Holt International Adoption website and requested information about my birth parents.

I mean I love my mother, my father and I do not speak.  Yet part of me has always wanted to know about the other parents of mine.

I mean, I admit: I am American.  The only part of me that is Korean is my looks.

The group on FB that is KADs (Korean American Adoptees) has a discussion going on about "What you classify yourself as."  I said I classify myself as American, because it is true.  This discussion is causing a lot of issues for some people, which I find odd.

So yes,  I have done it.  I am now waiting to hear something.  We shall see.
