Ever since I have been to the beach and back (and it has been like two months), loads of friends have asked me “how’s the beach” or “how’s vacation” or “what’s it like” (those are the friends who do not take vacation). So I have been dwelling on these thoughts for a few days now, and have realized “what the beach is” (hence the blog title today)!!!

- sandy
- windy
- wet
- not so crowded (my family prefers “boring” spots – according to Kenneth)
- calming
- fun to walk on
- cold
- soothing
- relaxing
- enjoyable
- comforting
